📋 Description

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with students on your caseload to outline their academic journey, activities, and university aspirations.

• Deliver the Future Ready curriculum through online lessons.

• Assist students in selecting courses that contribute to a robust high school transcript and align with their university objectives.

• Advise students on selecting clubs and activities that resonate with their interests and goals.

• Aid students in researching universities and creating balanced college lists.

• Support students throughout the entire application process for universities globally, including the Common App, University of California application, and UCAS.

• Monitor application deadlines and requirements, ensuring students stay on track.

• Compose counselor recommendation letters and submit necessary school documents.

• Engage with families regarding student progress, plans, and deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

• At least 5 years of experience in providing college counseling and advising to students.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with the UK curriculum and A Levels, including understanding how A Level choices and outcomes impact students' university ambitions.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines for a caseload of approximately 200 students.

• Proficient in remote work and effective communication with students, families, and colleagues across various time zones.

• Experience with NCAA advising for student athletes, including eligibility and college placement (preferred).

• Familiarity with the University of California (UC) application process, requirements, and deadlines (preferred).

• Background in supporting UCAS applications to UK universities (preferred).

• Availability for some early morning or evening hours required.
