Adjunct Faculty – Integration of Scripture with Counseling Theory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Provide students with the essential skills needed for success.

• Lead engaging discussions in the classroom environment.

• Evaluate student performance effectively.

• Prepare students to become successful leaders in their selected fields.

• Manage weekly main discussion forums within the online classroom.

• Comply with weekly grading standards, deadlines, and schedules.

• Address students' inquiries and emails within designated timeframes.

• Uphold the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Theology, or Ministry.

• Must currently possess or have previously held credentials as a Licensed Independent Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, or a Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapy Counselor.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in a Christian-based Counseling environment or a degree in theology or ministerial practice.

• Minimum requirement: Master’s degree in professional counseling, mental health counseling, addiction counseling, counseling psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Must hold valid credentials as a Licensed Independent Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, or a Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapy Counselor.

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Christian-based Counseling environment or a degree in theology or ministerial practice.

• Unofficial transcripts for any applicable completed graduate degrees.
