Underwriting Undergraduate Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in achieving the daily operational goals of the underwriting department

• Support underwriting analysis and reporting tasks

• Engage in projects and programs within the business area

• Contribute to the planning and execution of various initiatives and projects

• Conduct research and create reports, proposals, or recommendations for action

• Assess healthcare products, member demographics, pricing strategies, financial outcomes, and risk management approaches

• Facilitate data-driven analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, and recommendation development

• Execute entry-level professional tasks under guidance

• Participate in relevant studies or enrichment opportunities

• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Enrollment in a full or part-time accredited undergraduate program at a college or university

• Candidates must be authorized to work independently in the U.S.

• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

• Strong communication skills with colleagues, clients, and other internal or external stakeholders

• Adherence to the company's code of business conduct, policies, HIPAA regulations, privacy policies, information security guidelines, and applicable laws, rules, and training requirements
