This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Compile and evaluate underwriting data to facilitate risk assessments.
• Prepare and verify policy documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with underwriters to ensure compliance with corporate underwriting standards.
• Assist in reviewing submissions to pinpoint missing information and address discrepancies.
• Maintain precise records in underwriting systems and databases.
• Conduct research on market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor insights.
• Generate and disseminate underwriting reports to stakeholders.
• Fluency in the English language is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in underwriting, insurance operations, or a related support role.
• Familiarity with property and casualty insurance industry processes is a plus.
• Proficient in data entry and analysis using Microsoft Excel and underwriting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing complex documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of insurance products and underwriting principles.
