Underwriting Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and implement engaging training programs centered around service excellence, operational procedures, and technical knowledge.

• Oversee the onboarding process for new service staff, encompassing company culture, service standards, and role expectations.

• Conduct regular training sessions that focus on communication, customer interaction, problem resolution, and operational efficiency.

• Create training materials, resources, and e-learning courses that address company procedures, customer service best practices, and technical skills.

• Assist in documenting standard operating procedures and best practices across various service touchpoints.

• Keep training records to guarantee 100% participation.

• Evaluate and measure learning outcomes through knowledge checks, quizzes, role-play assessments, observations, and feedback surveys.

• Assess training effectiveness using evaluations and performance metrics.

• Ensure that service team members are knowledgeable about company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Work collaboratively with service leadership to identify skill gaps and offer targeted coaching or training.

• Provide constructive feedback and coordinate internal quality audits.

• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience in training and development.

• Demonstrated skills in remote facilitation.

• Experience in quality assurance.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment while effectively juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Preferred experience in the insurance industry.
