Underwriting Support Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold electronic case files and documentation for both renewal and new business ventures.

• Initiate and oversee the establishment of new business in Compass or Pluriform.

• Facilitate Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.

• Develop and sustain renewal pricing models using Excel.

• Evaluate buyer information in the IRP and update pricing models accordingly.

• Generate, manage, prepare, and submit pre-check and recommended Credit Limit Requests.

• Complete and keep updated Risk-Based Pricing documentation.

• Collaborate with the Policy Implementation team to coordinate policy issuance.

• Fulfill checklists and upload necessary documentation to Compass.

• Oversee operational and system requests, which include finance tickets, buyer records, and Group Hierarchy assignments.

• Process and manage policy mid-term adjustments within Compass.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping and data integrity across various systems and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

• 0–2 years of pertinent experience in credit insurance, finance, banking, credit management, or a comparable setting.

• Strong analytical and research competencies.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management systems.

• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.

• A positive attitude, flexibility, and eagerness to learn.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies.

• Enthusiasm for learning and incorporating AI into daily business operations.
