Underwriting Support – ChemPlan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Accurately prepare and process underwriting documentation in accordance with company policies.

• Collect necessary information and supporting documents from brokers or clients.

• Input policy and quote data into internal systems.

• Track and monitor submissions and renewals to ensure timely follow-up and completion.

• Address inquiries from both internal and external parties regarding underwriting procedures and documentation.

• Keep well-organized records and files for underwriting transactions and submissions.

• Work collaboratively with underwriting, operations, and customer service teams to resolve data or processing issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• 1–2 years of experience in underwriting support, insurance operations, or a related administrative role.

• Familiarity with property and casualty insurance processes is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry tasks.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities.

• Basic understanding of insurance concepts and underwriting terminology.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external partners.

• No specific certification, license, or registration requirements are necessary.
