This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Gain practical skills and foundational knowledge in software engineering.
• Utilize software development, configuration, and design methodologies that adhere to industry standards.
• Ensure code is efficient in performance, reliable, maintainable, and self-documenting.
• Create, test, troubleshoot, and document application components.
• Formulate project plans.
• Convert fundamental business processes into programming logic.
• Anticipated completion of at least one year of studies at an accredited college or university prior to the start of the internship.
• Expected continued enrollment in an accredited institution following the internship period.
• The student must reside in the United States throughout the internship duration.
• Availability for a full-time work schedule is mandatory.
• Must be willing to accept and commit to a potential full-time position by July 2028, if offered.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s Degree program at an accredited college or university.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent is required.
• Preferred academic concentrations in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a closely related field.
• Experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries is a plus.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
• Strong skills in project management, analytical thinking, and quantitative analysis are essential.
• Must be proficient in at least one programming language: Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.
• Relevant coursework in business systems analysis, Lean, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, SDLC processes, software development, database modeling, web design and development, IT management, cloud application management, B2B collaboration, or ERP/CRM systems is beneficial.
