Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the IRS EDOS program

• Aid in the modernization of IRS legacy tax processing systems

• Develop high-performing, scalable applications of enterprise caliber using contemporary Java and React technologies

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle from initial concept and design to testing and deployment

• Collaborate on mission-critical applications within a skilled software team

• Contribute to a dynamic, collaborative, and agile work environment

• Design, integrate, secure, and deploy sophisticated technical solutions for Federal government clients

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field along with 2+ years of overall experience

• Must be a US Citizen

• Required to hold an active IRS MBI Clearance and possess current GFE

• Strong expertise in Java, with a solid grasp of Java design patterns

• Extensive knowledge of the Spring framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA

• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS

• Experience in converting graphic designs into responsive user interfaces with HTML and CSS

• Proven experience in building APIs that facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems

• Familiarity with server-side technologies such as Java, Node.js, and Python

• Experience with cloud services (AWS)

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, OpenShift)

• Well-acquainted with DevOps tools including Jenkins, SonarQube, AppScan, Nexus IQ, GitHub, and GitHub Actions

• Experience working within an Agile team and a strong comprehension of agile methodologies

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels
