Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack, Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable and high-performing full stack solutions.

• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineering teams.

• Advocate for the technical priorities of the team and ensure alignment within the engineering department.

• Engage in product discovery, evaluate feasibility, and validate concepts through prototypes and experiments.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop intuitive interfaces for patients.

• Build and maintain monitored integrations with both external partners and internal systems.

• Ensure the accuracy, privacy, and compliance of data.

• Work alongside engineering teams on system and service integration.

• Identify strategic technologies and investments that enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Decompose complex projects and guide them to successful completion.

• Enhance engineering workflows, processes, and tools.

• Analyze metrics related to products, operations, and patient feedback.

• Create and update technical documentation.

• Conduct code reviews and promote knowledge sharing among team members.

• Mentor and support colleagues at all levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building production web products.

• Strong full stack development skills in React/Next.js and Node/TypeScript or similar technologies.

• Proven experience in delivering scalable, high-quality web applications and services within a modern cloud environment.

• Experience in building and managing third-party integrations and asynchronous, event-driven workflows, including queues, webhooks, retries, and idempotency.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL, Node.js, Nest.js, PostgresDB, Redis, and Amazon SQS.

• Demonstrated experience in shipping experiment-driven features that enhance conversion, activation, or retention.

• Familiarity with feature flag systems and experimentation platforms such as GrowthBook, Optimizely, or LaunchDarkly.

• Expertise in web performance optimization, accessibility, and modern UI engineering practices.

• Strong analytical skills, including event instrumentation, analytics debugging, and basic SQL knowledge.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines, including automated unit and integration testing.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

• Bonus: experience in healthcare or other regulated domains, including HIPAA, PHI handling, third-party partner integrations, or industry data standards.
