Senior Fullstack Engineer – all identities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge of therapist-interface workflows, understand the architecture, and implement initial enhancements within the first three months.

• Take full ownership of larger full-stack features from the initial requirements through to implementation, testing, release, and further iterations.

• Develop and refine features across the Ruby on Rails backend and the React/TypeScript frontend.

• Make informed technical decisions regarding code structure, testing methodologies, and incremental refactoring.

• Determine how to effectively break down and deliver tasks while adhering to established priorities and engineering standards.

• Provide technical guidance that impacts shared architecture, other teams, or delivery commitments.

• Enhance the therapist experience along with the software's reliability and maintainability.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Design, four engineers, and a UX/UI Designer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in building and managing web applications in a production environment.

• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails.

• Experience with React and modern TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• In-depth knowledge of APIs and testing methodologies.

• Capability to navigate unclear requirements and make informed technical trade-offs.

• Ability to translate problems into sustainable solutions.

• A product-focused mindset aimed at achieving intended outcomes.

• Judgement and autonomy to take projects from initial problems to production completion.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

• Commitment to safeguarding sensitive personal data, including health information.
