This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in product discovery by investigating user requirements, documenting processes, and synthesizing feedback from interviews, surveys, and product data.

• Convert business challenges and user requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and relevant product documentation.

• Aid in backlog refinement, sprint planning, user acceptance testing, and activities related to release readiness.

• Examine product usage, operational metrics, and customer insights to pinpoint trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement.

• Create presentations, status reports, and recommendations for product and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, engineers, data teams, business partners, and cross-functional groups to deliver user-focused digital solutions.

• Support Amgen’s mission by contributing to the enhancement of digital products for both colleagues and patients.


⛳️ Requirements

• Anticipated completion of at least one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the start of the internship.

• Expected continued enrollment in an accredited college or university following the internship.

• Intern must reside in the United States throughout the internship period.

• Must be available for a full-time work schedule.

• Must be prepared to accept and commit to potential full-time employment by July 2028, if offered.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program at an accredited college or university.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent.

• Preferred areas of study include Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields.

• Experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries is preferred.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong skills in project management, analysis, and quantitative reasoning.

• Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.

• Relevant coursework in business systems analysis, Lean methodologies, Agile/SCRUM, SDLC processes, software development, database modeling, web design and development, IT management, cloud application management, B2B collaboration, ERP, or CRM systems.

• Must hold authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program.

• Future sponsorship for full-time positions is not guaranteed.
