Ultrasound Clinical Applications Specialist, General Imaging Ultrasound

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive and implement clinical education, training, and demonstration initiatives for General Imaging Ultrasound.

• Facilitate evidence-based practices and provide support to customer experience and commercial teams from pre-sale to post-implementation.

• Offer technical and clinical leadership during the pre-sales phase by showcasing Ultrasound products, their uses, capabilities, and advantages.

• Organize, schedule, and execute objective-driven customer system training.

• Monitor and document training outcomes.

• Act as a subject matter expert in General Imaging Ultrasound and serve as a clinical liaison to the sales team.

• Enhance clinical capabilities, customer relationships, and business prospects.

• Gain entry into competitive accounts and relay market intelligence to the organization.

• Promote new product features and clinical techniques.

• Create training plans and strategies that support product integration and ongoing training requirements.

• Assist at trade shows and professional conferences through product demonstrations and customer training.

• Identify customer satisfaction challenges and help with escalations, problem-solving, and specialty training requests.

• Build customer relationships, including connections with key opinion leaders, to standardize and optimize protocols.

• Encourage hybrid training delivery methods for customers.

• Maintain both pre- and post-training documentation.

• Uphold safety, quality, Quality Management System, and EHS standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the General Imaging Ultrasound technical/clinical field.

• Required certification: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen.

• Preferred certifications include Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Adult Cardiac, or MSK certification.

• In-depth understanding of clinical education training and related process implementation.

• Proven ability to convey complex information and tailor messaging based on the audience.

• Familiarity with Healthcare Information Systems, networking, and IT.

• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75% (4–5 days per week, including overnights and occasional weekends) throughout the US using car, air travel, and train.

• Must reside in Indianapolis or within one hour of the Greater Indianapolis area.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.

• Adherence to relevant Quality Management System and EHS policies and procedures.
