UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create engaging, user-friendly interfaces for both web and mobile applications.

• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and polished UI designs.

• Transform product specifications and user requirements into effective design solutions.

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development process.

• Build, maintain, and enhance scalable design systems and reusable components.

• Conduct or assist in user research, usability testing, and design validation processes.

• Leverage feedback, research, and product insights to continually enhance the user experience.

• Ensure uniformity across layouts, typography, colors, components, and interaction patterns.

• Prepare designs and specifications to ensure a seamless handoff to developers.

• Evaluate implemented designs and collaborate with developers to uphold high-quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in UI/UX, Product Design, or Digital Product Design.

• A compelling portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects and your design methodology.

• Advanced skills in Figma and other modern design/prototyping tools.

• Strong grasp of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, responsive design, and usability.

• Experience in producing wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and high-fidelity interfaces.

• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.

• Ability to effectively communicate and justify design choices to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Keen attention to detail and strong visual design capabilities.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, collaborative setting.

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

• Experience in designing SaaS or technology-based products.

• Background in working with startups or fast-paced product development teams.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines.

• Understanding of basic HTML/CSS and front-end development principles.

• Experience in conducting user interviews, usability testing, or other UX research activities.
