UI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven applications directly on the Azure Databricks platform.

• Develop solutions that operate natively within the Databricks serverless environment.

• Integrate platform services focused on data governance, querying, authentication, and model serving.

• Create and manage the React shell, data visualization interfaces, and customizable user portals.

• Establish authentication and secure role-based access utilizing Databricks AppKit with Entra ID / Azure AD federation.

• Connect interfaces with governed data through curated SQL views, semantic models, and catalog data within the Databricks lakehouse.

• Link front-end applications to conversational Genie Spaces for natural-language inquiries regarding data.

• Collaborate with data engineers, subject matter experts, product management, client teams, and colleagues from CampusWorks.

• Assess existing processes and design future-state workflows.

• Architect, develop, test, train, and implement process and technical solutions across various institutional deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and Python.

• Practical experience with contemporary frameworks such as React and Dash.

• Familiarity with state management and data retrieval using appropriate frameworks and libraries.

• Experience in server-side scaffolding, structuring, and deployment utilizing Node.js and Python frameworks.

• Knowledge of authentication methods and secure access, including OAuth and identity federation.

• Capability to query catalog data from Lakebase or other structured SQL setups.

• Experience in UX or visual design is preferred.

• Familiarity with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, or Unity Catalog is preferred.

• Background in higher education, analytics, or data-intensive SaaS environments is preferred.
