UAT Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Execute thorough UAT test scenarios and test cases for online banking and online account opening solutions.

• Assess system functionality in relation to business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Conduct end-to-end testing of customer-facing digital banking processes.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects, issues, and system anomalies until resolution.

• Confirm defect resolutions and carry out regression testing.

• Test online banking functionalities including registration, authentication, balances, transaction history, transfers, bill payments, alerts, integrations, and account management.

• Evaluate consumer and business account opening workflows, disclosures, funding, account setup, integrations, and data flows.

• Generate detailed defect reports that include reproduction steps, expected versus actual results, screenshots, supporting documents, severity, and priority.

• Maintain testing logs, defect trackers, and repositories of testing evidence.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Operations, Developers, and technology teams.

• Engage in requirements reviews, project meetings, and discussions regarding testing strategies.

• Assist with conversion readiness, implementation, and post-deployment validation.

• Aid in the development and maintenance of UAT standards, templates, and procedures.

• Provide regular updates on testing progress and defect resolution status.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in banking or financial services.

• Proven experience testing online account opening platforms.

• Familiarity with testing and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Quality Center, or comparable platforms.

• Understanding of digital banking products and customer journeys.

• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.

• Experience in system conversions, integrations, or extensive digital transformation projects.

• Experience in UAT testing.

• Background in quality assurance and test planning.

• Must be available to work in Hawaii Standard Time.

• Expert-level experience required.
