Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing for web applications, platform functionalities, and virtual reality experiences.

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.

• Create test plans and test cases to validate business requirements while identifying edge cases.

• Analyze and replicate reported issues, documenting findings in a clear and actionable manner.

• Generate and maintain comprehensive bug reports that include reproduction steps, expected outcomes, actual results, and supporting evidence.

• Verify bug fixes and confirm resolutions prior to deployment.

• Engage in release readiness activities, testing cycles, and quality sign-offs.

• Support test automation initiatives to enhance testing efficiency.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Clinical Subject Matter Experts, and QA teams.

• Uphold testing documentation, standards, and best practices in quality assurance.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship at present or in the future.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related field.

• Proficient manual testing skills alongside a solid understanding of software testing methodologies.

• Experience in developing test plans, test cases, and defect documentation.

• Capability to identify edge cases, risks, and unexpected user behaviors that extend beyond documented requirements.

• Familiarity with established QA processes and development workflows.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Quick adaptability to new tools, technologies, and business domains.

• Exposure to test automation tools, frameworks, or best practices in automation.

• Experience utilizing AI tools for test creation, automation, or QA workflows.

• Proficient with Jira, Azure DevOps, Linear, or similar issue-tracking systems.

• Experience in testing web-based applications, SaaS platforms, or mobile applications.

• Familiarity with virtual reality devices such as Meta Quest or HTC Vive.

• Exposure to mobile device management platforms and device testing.

• Interest in healthcare technology, simulation, educational technology, or emerging technologies.

• Experience in Agile development environments.
