QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Serve as the essential human-in-the-loop quality owner, connecting AI-generated testing, engineering outcomes, and the ultimate SAI360 product experience.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance test design, create test data, ensure regression coverage, analyze defects, and maintain automation.

• Assess AI-generated tests and automation results to verify business logic, customer intent, and readiness for release.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and risk-based testing across various products and solutions.

• Keep clear and current test documentation, including AI-assisted test coverage and known deficiencies.

• Work collaboratively with developers and product managers in agile teams to integrate quality throughout the development cycle.

• Automate repeatable test scenarios using Playwright, Cypress, or similar AI-assisted automation frameworks.

• Establish human review checkpoints to ensure AI-generated tests and outcomes are validated before impacting release decisions.

• Engage in code reviews, automation assessments, and continuous enhancement of QA practices.

• Recognize, prioritize, and monitor complex defects through to resolution, including workflow gaps, edge cases, and quality risks affecting users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Prior experience in QA, quality engineering, or test automation for web-based software applications.

• Practical experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.

• Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, such as generating test concepts, drafting automation scripts, analyzing failures, creating data sets, or summarizing defects.

• Solid understanding of software development life cycles, ideally Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and release quality practices.

• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and pinpoint missing scenarios, flawed assumptions, overconfidence, or gaps in business logic.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, a sense of curiosity, and a readiness to explore new AI-assisted QA methodologies.

• Capacity and eagerness to quickly learn new tools, techniques, and product domains while simultaneously supporting multiple solutions.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with the capability to clearly articulate quality risks, AI-generated insights, and release recommendations.

• Highly detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple testing streams and adapt to changing priorities effectively.

• Comfortable acting as a liaison between AI tooling, engineering teams, product managers, and the quality of the final customer-facing product.
