Analyst, Default FHA Claims QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate FHA Part A mortgage insurance claims for precision within investor and insurer deadlines.

• Conduct quality assessments utilizing scorecards and/or checklists to pinpoint claim discrepancies.

• Relay correction requests to the claims filing team and ensure their prompt and accurate completion.

• Document processes with relevant task assignments and comments.

• Confirm accuracy of dates and information on Part A claim forms.

• Analyze foreclosure and default timelines and apply relevant extensions.

• Uphold company policies regarding the reduction of interest.

• Ensure all necessary documentation is present in claim files.

• Complete and submit claims to the agency for payment.

• Highlight trends and issues discovered during quality assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma is required; some college education is preferred.

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in mortgage servicing default, or QA/QC experience in another field, or a college degree.

• Moderate understanding of default claims procedures for insurers and investors.

• Knowledge of the default servicing process, including Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Loss Mitigation, and Claims.

• Moderate familiarity with agency and investor guidelines.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on collaboration and quality.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Capacity to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and management, both internally and externally.

• Capability to adhere to strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks under pressure and shifting priorities.
