UAT Test Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Formulate and uphold the UAT strategy, encompassing the plan, schedule, scope, entry and exit criteria, roles, responsibilities, and readiness activities in alignment with JTMS program increments and releases.

• Manage comprehensive acceptance scenarios that validate mission and business workflows across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, Mendix applications, interfaces, and integrated systems.

• Collaborate with Government JPO test representatives, product owners, business process owners, subject matter experts, and representative end users.

• Oversee the creation and review of UAT scenarios, test cases, test data, traceability, environment readiness, user access, and execution instructions.

• Facilitate UAT sessions, coordinate testers, track execution progress, address blockers, and ensure results and evidence are documented.

• Lead UAT defect triage, assess defect quality and severity, identify duplicates, oversee retesting, and monitor issues until resolution.

• Compile UAT results and present status updates, pass/fail metrics, defect trends, risks, issues, and readiness recommendations to program leadership and Government stakeholders.

• Engage in PI planning, iteration planning, system demonstrations, retrospectives, and other SAFe ceremonies.

• Conduct UAT retrospectives and apply enhancements to processes, templates, tools, metrics, and stakeholder coordination.

• Provide support to USTRANSCOM's Joint Transportation Management System, a critical platform modernizing transportation, logistics, and financial operations via SAP S/4HANA ERP integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret clearance is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• At least 7 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or business acceptance testing.

• Proven experience leading UAT for large-scale enterprise or ERP systems.

• Demonstrated capability in planning and spearheading UAT events that involve business users, product owners, subject matter experts, and technical teams.

• Strong understanding of the SAFe Framework, SDLC, Agile development practices, and acceptance testing within iterative delivery.

• Exceptional facilitation, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and executive-level reporting skills.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• ISTQB, SAFe, or similar testing/Agile certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow CWM (Collaborative Work Management) or similar tools for test management, defect tracking, and reporting is preferred.

• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Transportation Management (TM), or other S/4HANA business modules is preferred.

• Previous experience supporting federal agencies or Department of Defense clients is preferred.
