UAT Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate comprehensive UAT and SIT delivery by collaborating with Product Owners, Journey Leads, QA, technology teams, and business users.

• Lead test governance and oversee execution through the preparation of test cases, defect tracking, triage meetings, Azure DevOps reporting, and daily communication regarding test status.

• Coordinate UAT sessions with business users and Relationship Managers.

• Document and monitor action items, feedback, issues, risks, and dependencies.

• Identify and establish key UAT milestones in conjunction with the Product Owner.

• Track project tasks and follow up with internal teams.

• Oversee project progress and address issues with support from the Tech Project Manager.

• Maintain centralized documentation for testing, including plans, dashboards, metrics, and reports.

• Facilitate coordination between squads and technology throughout SIT and UAT phases.

• Collaborate with SIT members to resolve integration challenges and hold SIT teams accountable for defects.

• Monitor test management activities within Azure DevOps.

• Ensure compliance with release protocols during go-live events.

• Manage action item closures and address testing obstacles in collaboration with program teams.

• Conduct daily defect triage meetings with squad members.

• Publish daily reports on test status.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related technical field.

• 4-7 years of pertinent experience.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps is required.

• Hands-on experience with Azure dashboards is essential.

• Background in testing within Agile methodologies.

• Proficient in test estimation techniques, using story points or T-shirt sizing.

• Experience in impact analysis and planning for regression testing.
