This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Operate unmanned aircraft systems while adhering to established checklists and safety protocols.
• Carry out preflight planning, which includes mission briefings, weather assessments, NOTAMs, SPINs, and airspace considerations.
• Assess customer mission requirements and identify operational necessities.
• Gather and analyze flight data; finalize post-mission reports and logs.
• Work collaboratively with team members and clients to strategize and implement UAS missions.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of UAS and ground support equipment.
• Liaise with company experts to address issues that exceed field maintenance capabilities.
• Manage inventory of UAS spare parts and components while reporting cycle counts.
• Assist customer missions by delivering full-motion video and payload data while ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Travel globally with company products to support customer missions.
• At least 3+ years of experience in operating and/or maintaining UAS platforms.
• Proven knowledge and experience in providing direct support and services to customers in field settings.
• Strong background in customer service along with excellent communication skills.
• Must be open to deployment in remote and sometimes challenging environments for 4-to-6-month periods.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% throughout the year.
• Capable of passing customer-mandated medical, dental, and psychological pre-deployment screenings.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures and varying weather.
• Possess an active secret DoD clearance.
• Experience in maritime deployments.
• Familiarity with Integrator or RQ21 systems.
• Experience in delivering system training and applying instructional skills.
• Current qualifications on ScanEagle or Integrator, including Operator/Maintenance and/or Mission Coordinator certifications.
• Relevant experience with UAS (e.g., training, flight testing, engineering).
• Background in military service or experience working with military clients.
• Top Secret Clearance preferred.
• Basic networking abilities.
• Associate degree in a related field, typically with 3 or more years of pertinent experience or a comparable combination of education, military, and/or work experience.
• Current FAA Class 2 Medical certificate is required as a condition of the job offer.
• Must reside in the continental United States; candidates from Hawaii, U.S. territories, and foreign jurisdictions are excluded.
