This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Offer academic assistance to students of LAUSD

• Generate weekly and quarterly reports detailing students’ progress

• Prepare to provide updates on student performance and address any questions or concerns

• Take initiative in projects that align with Axiom’s mission statement

• Conduct student sessions that include Standardized Test Preparation, Traditional Academic Subjects, and Executive Functioning Curriculum

• Tailor the curriculum to meet each student’s academic, socio-emotional needs, and learning objectives

• Mentor students in executive functioning skills, including time management, organization, and techniques to avoid procrastination

⛳️ Requirements

• Available at various times between 2pm - 5pm PST, Monday through Friday

• Currently pursuing a B.A./B.S. degree or have completed one

• Possess ambition and a desire to make a difference in the world

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong organizational skills with a commitment to follow through on assigned tasks

• Prior experience in teaching or a related field is preferred
