Trust & Compliance Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the Trust & Compliance Operations function from start to finish, encompassing the data room, trust center, and the VDDQ/RFP response process.

• Act as the primary point of accountability for vendor due diligence questionnaires, RFPs, and RFIs related to new business, renewals, and expansions.

• Manage the intake, drafting, internal review, and submission processes in a repeatable manner.

• Monitor open requests against established SLAs and alert Sales leadership about any deals at risk.

• Develop and sustain a dynamic knowledge base of pre-approved, audit-ready responses for security, privacy, and compliance inquiries.

• Revise the knowledge base for every SOC 2 cycle, policy update, or significant product/infrastructure modification.

• Collaborate with Engineering to define and launch a self-service trust center.

• Oversee the due diligence data room's taxonomy, document versioning, access controls, and differentiation between customer-facing and internal content.

• Ensure that the documents in the data room accurately represent Zocks' current security and compliance status.

• Facilitate connections between Security, Legal, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver accurate and up-to-date information.

• Cultivate relationships with subject-matter experts to ensure a continuous flow of source information.

• Establish and publish turnaround SLAs for DDQs/RFPs.

• Provide quarterly reports on deals that have been unblocked or expedited, with quantification in $ ARR.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience managing VDDQs/RFPs/RFIs from start to finish, preferably within a regulated B2B SaaS environment.

• Familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance frameworks pertinent to financial-services vendors, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GLBA/Reg S-P, and SEC/FINRA vendor oversight requirements.

• Proven capability to simplify complex technical and legal details into clear, customer-ready language under tight deadlines.

• Experience in creating repeatable processes and structures (data room taxonomy, knowledge base, SLAs) instead of addressing diligence as isolated incidents.

• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Security, Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to obtain accurate answers without needing deep technical knowledge in each area.

• Experience working directly with prospects' and customers' security, compliance, and vendor-management teams, including participation in live diligence calls.

• Background in or selling to financial services, wealthtech, or a similarly regulated industry is strongly preferred due to Zocks' focus on financial advisors and wealth management firms.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

• Candidates must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IA, KS, MA, MI, NE, NJ, NV, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA, WI.
