This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Enhance current accounts, cultivate new business prospects, and establish an account portfolio throughout the Western and Southwestern United States.
• Expand business relationships with port customers, fleet management firms, large corporations, distribution hubs, terminals, and refuse truck operations.
• Develop, lead, and implement regional sales strategies and plans.
• Present sales proposals to potential clients, utilizing company demonstration trucks as needed.
• Achieve or surpass designated sales goals and performance objectives.
• Lead contract discussions with both prospective and existing clients.
• Assist in pricing strategies, encompassing quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
• Prepare precise weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to evaluate sales potential, customer preferences, and inventory needs.
• Manage and engage in regional meetings, industry associations, and customer events.
• Stay informed about the EV truck market, including OEMs, incentives, and industry developments.
• Attend vendor and supplier meetings to support sales and marketing initiatives.
• Represent the company at trade association meetings, conferences, and expos.
• Travel frequently within the Northwest Region.
• Collaborate as a member of the RIDE truck team to develop and implement truck sales targets and enhance the RIDE EV truck presence in the U.S. market.
• Primarily operate in a professional office setting using standard office equipment.
• This role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.
• At least two to three (2-3) years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales.
• Ability to perform efficiently in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in Class 6 to Class 8 truck sales or electric vehicle (EV) truck sales is preferred.
• Strong understanding of sales principles and methodologies, including product presentations, promotions, demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers in both verbal and written forms, tailoring messages to suit audience needs.
• Proven capacity to work autonomously, take initiative, and remain resourceful with minimal supervision.
• Experience in negotiating contracts and influencing stakeholders for favorable business outcomes.
• Proven track record in data analysis, performance metric tracking, and report generation.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the United States to meet clients and attend trade shows.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Working knowledge of customer service principles and practices, including customer needs assessment, service quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and logical reasoning.
• Proficiency in the Mandarin language is a plus.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including talking, hearing, filing, lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or standing on a step stool as necessary.
