Treasury Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily cash flow and liquidity management across various bank accounts, customer fund accounts, custodians, and stablecoin wallets.

• Anticipate liquidity requirements by product and corridor.

• Manage pre-funding and settlement lines with liquidity and payout partners.

• Develop automated liquidity management solutions for Mesh from the ground up in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams.

• Evaluate money-movement terms of new customer and partner agreements prior to signing.

• Monitor incentive and subsidy expenditures against approved thresholds.

• Facilitate funding settlements with banks and partners.

• Address issues related to stalled or unsuccessful transfers, uncredited deposits, and settlement discrepancies.

• Manage partner compliance inquiries, including source-of-funds assessments.

• Invest corporate funds in accordance with policies approved by the CEO and CFO.

• Develop and implement investment policies, crypto signing protocols, approval limits, and dual control mechanisms.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with banks and custodians.

• Provide month-end cash balance statements and support documentation.

• Maintain a 13-week cash forecast in collaboration with Strategic Finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury or payment operations within a payments company, money transmitter, exchange, or stablecoin organization.

• Practical experience with both fiat and stablecoin money movement.

• Profound knowledge of payments and liquidity management.

• Experience in specifying and developing automated treasury or liquidity systems in partnership with engineering teams.

• Proven track record in liquidity and prefunding management with external partners.

• Experience in reviewing settlement and funding conditions in commercial agreements.

• Familiarity with operating under an investment policy and approval controls.

• Knowledge of Latin American payment systems such as PIX and SPEI is a plus.
