Treasury Management Product Manager – Check & ACH Positive Pay, Fraud Prevention Solution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, design, develop, and provide value-added Treasury Management products for Flagstar’s retail and wholesale clientele.

• Supervise product metrics, launches, performance, ongoing improvements, and compliance standards.

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from inception to launch, which includes development, business case creation, and implementation.

• Collaborate with MIS/Data Science to interpret business requirements effectively.

• Identify product opportunities and gaps, evaluate financial implications, and inform the long-term product strategy and prioritization.

• Create and sustain a product roadmap that aligns with strategic goals, capital investments, marketplace differentiation, customer experience, compliance and risk management, and sales requirements.

• Lead matrix teams and work in conjunction with IT, HR, marketing, Audit, Risk, finance, operations, technology, sales, and customer service.

• Establish enterprise partnerships and mentor teams towards impactful collaborations.

• Take a leading role in marketing products and ensure comprehensive training and education on product positioning and functionality.

• Perform customer research to guarantee products resonate and facilitate ongoing product maintenance.

• Advocate for and support the product portfolio throughout the organization.

• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in decision-making; analyze and resolve issues as they arise.

• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.

• Travel to client offices, prospects, branches, and various functions 75% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline; banking experience in a similar position may be considered.

• Over 4 years of experience in researching, designing, developing, and/or delivering value-added products in payments, banking, or FinTech.

• Proven experience in developing and executing product strategy or sales initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to convert customer and business needs into a practical product roadmap that drives business outcomes.

• Proficient in creating market research summaries, competitive analyses, product comparisons, business cases, business and product requirements, workflows, and customer journey maps.

• Experience in digital product development and cross-functional delivery.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Expertise in wholesale receivables/payables solutions.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities with keen attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.

• Direct involvement with or influence in receivables networks such as NACHA, The Clearing House, AFP, and external vendors.

• Comprehensive knowledge of treasury management products and services.

• Proficiency in business cash flows, accounting processes, and financial optimization.

• Expertise in treasury management value propositions within a corporate treasury context.

• Familiarity with UCC, Reg CC, Reg E, and related regulatory guidance and oversight.

• Sales and negotiation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at the senior executive level.

• Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources to address service challenges or develop solutions.

• Capacity to build and maintain strong stakeholder and client relationships.

• Willingness to travel 75% of the time to client offices, prospects, branches, and various functions.

• Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

• Preferred: Master’s degree or postgraduate equivalent.

• Preferred: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and/or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).
