This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and take ownership of the strategic direction, vision, and multi-year roadmap for designated product portfolios.
• Identify market opportunities, competitive challenges, customer requirements, and emerging trends within the industry.
• Align product strategy with the company's goals, financial objectives, and growth initiatives.
• Establish priorities for the portfolio and make decisions regarding investment trade-offs.
• Take responsibility for product business outcomes, including revenue growth, adoption rates, retention, customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
• Develop strategies for pricing, packaging, monetization, and commercialization.
• Collaborate with Finance and Executive Leadership on business cases, product investments, and return-on-investment analyses.
• Define success metrics and assess portfolio performance for opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Drive decisions regarding the product lifecycle, including launches, modernization, expansion, and retirement.
• Oversee go-to-market strategies and ensure launch readiness.
• Work alongside Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to facilitate product adoption and commercialization.
• Lead efforts in market research, competitive intelligence, and customer discovery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor actions, regulatory changes, and customer needs.
• Lead, coach, develop, and assess a team of Product Managers and a Product Designer.
• Foster a high-performance culture centered on accountability, customer outcomes, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
• Mentor Product Managers to enhance product thinking, execution quality, and business acumen.
• Remain engaged in product discovery, prioritization, roadmap decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Guide teams in creating features, epics, business cases, and requirements.
• Support complex initiatives that require executive alignment, cross-functional collaboration, or organizational change.
• Eliminate organizational barriers and escalate issues impacting execution or business outcomes.
• Ensure disciplined backlog management, strategic alignment, and excellence in execution.
• Influence stakeholders across Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Legal, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Communicate strategy, priorities, trade-offs, risks, and performance updates to executive and cross-functional teams.
• Represent Product Management in executive planning, strategic reviews, and company-wide initiatives.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least ten (10) years of experience in Product Management, including responsibility for product strategy, roadmaps, and measurable business outcomes.
• A minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience managing Product Managers or similar product teams.
• Proven success in leading product portfolios with measurable outcomes in revenue, adoption, customer satisfaction, and commercial success.
• Experience in developing product strategies, pricing models, monetization approaches, commercialization plans, and go-to-market strategies.
• Experience in conducting market analysis, competitive intelligence, customer research, and market validation activities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and align multiple business functions.
• Strong analytical, financial, strategic thinking, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Credit Unions, Financial Institutions, Banks, Fintechs, or related financial services organizations.
• A solid understanding of the Credit Union and Financial Institution landscape, including customer needs, buying behaviors, competitive pressures, and industry trends.
• Experience in direct engagement with Credit Union or Financial Institution customers, partners, or executive stakeholders.
• Experience in delivering or managing products in areas like digital banking, Core Banking, loan payments and debt repayment, ACH, card processing, money movement, banking APIs and SDKs, white-label user experiences, or financial services SaaS solutions.
• Broad knowledge of payment technologies, digital banking ecosystems, and financial services products.
• Willingness to travel locally and/or nationally.
