This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Prepare and oversee the daily cash position, including available cash, anticipated inflows and outflows, and immediate liquidity needs.
• Manage payment execution within approval workflows, ensuring dual approval and adherence to segregation of duties requirements.
• Administer access to the bank portal, including user maintenance and relevant documentation.
• Develop short-term cash forecasts in collaboration with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Human Resources (HR), and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular cash calls, aligning stakeholders on funding needs, payment priorities, and follow-up actions.
• Conduct or coordinate bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding exceptions.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, and plant accounting teams to enhance cash application, optimize payment timing, resolve unapplied cash, and maintain subledger integrity.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to cash, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Oversee treasury-related controls, governance of bank accounts, and documentation standards for audit purposes.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements that improve visibility, standardization, and discipline in cash management.
• Provide controlled backup support and engage in cross-training initiatives.
• Collaborate with the CFO, VP of FP&A, Corporate Controller, AP and AR leaders, plant accounting teams, and operational stakeholders in OKC and Dyersburg.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in treasury, cash management, accounting, or a comparable finance role.
• Proficient in using bank portals, online payment platforms, treasury workflows, payment controls, and user access management.
• Strong comprehension of cash flow, bank reconciliations, disbursement cycles, and the interrelationships among income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
• Familiarity with internal controls, audit support expectations, and segregation of duties principles in shared services or multi-site environments.
• Advanced Excel skills with the capability to organize extensive data sets and generate accurate, actionable reports.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities, with a knack for escalating issues and resolving exceptions across functions.
• Capacity to handle competing priorities and meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, shared services, or a multi-entity setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Infor Cloud ERP and banking platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cash forecasting models, payment files, and treasury reporting tools is desirable.
• Exposure to internal audit, SOX-style controls, or regulated shared services environments is a plus.
• High integrity, sound judgment, a strong control mindset, accountability, clear communication, and comfort with time-sensitive decision-making.
• High-impact treasury role with direct responsibility for daily cash visibility, payment discipline, and liquidity support.
