Treasury Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Carry out daily treasury functions, which include monitoring cash positioning and overseeing bank account activities.

• Facilitate and manage wire transfers, ACH transactions, and various electronic payment processes.

• Prepare and oversee bank reconciliations for multiple entities.

• Assist in short-term cash flow forecasting through data compilation and analysis.

• Keep track of liquidity levels and report any potential cash requirements or discrepancies.

• Maintain precise records of all treasury transactions and ensure proper documentation is in place.

• Support treasury controls and help ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.

• Aid in managing banking relationships by coordinating account maintenance and required documentation.

• Work collaboratively with accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and operations teams to guarantee accurate cash reporting.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes relating to cash and treasury activities.

• Help with reporting requirements concerning debt, lender communications, and compliance when necessary.

• Contribute to process enhancements and assist in the implementation of scalable treasury procedures.

• Support acquisitions and new entity integrations from the standpoint of treasury and cash management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

• Preferably 2-4 years of experience in treasury, accounting, finance, or banking.

• Experience in healthcare, long-term care, senior living, or multi-entity environments is advantageous.

• A basic understanding of cash management, bank reconciliations, and financial controls is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or financial systems is required.

• Strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational skills is necessary.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• A high level of accuracy and accountability is expected.
