Traveling Project Controls Specialist – MEP Division

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and sustain project cost control measures.

• Monitor, assess, and refresh project cost data in relation to budgeted figures.

• Create project progress charts and detailed cost reports.

• Assist in forecasting potential time and cost issues by utilizing trending data.

• Design and implement measurement systems to process, analyze, and pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Develop and revise resource-loaded construction timelines.

• Confirm scope modifications and estimate costs based on contractual agreements.

• Deliver cost analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting for concrete construction initiatives.

• Monitor project expenditures and aid project teams in budget management.

• Travel to project locations as required by this project-oriented role.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of an Associate’s degree from a two-year college or university in Business or Engineering.

• At least one year of experience in jobsite construction.

• Fundamental computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

• Experience with Primavera Scheduling Software is preferred.

• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

• Capacity to perform tasks involving standing, walking, sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing.

• Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

• Must have close vision capabilities.
