Traveling Maintenance Support Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Deliver coverage and assistance to communities experiencing vacant Service and Maintenance Manager roles.

• Offer managerial guidance to communities facing critical and time-sensitive challenges.

• Act as the subject matter expert in direct maintenance and service operations, vendor management, and mentoring.

• Function as the acting Service Manager whenever and wherever assigned.

• Provide the standard operational support expected of AIR’s Service Managers.

• Oversee regional property maintenance management for multiple assigned communities.

• Manage service requests, administration, turnover processes, preventative maintenance, staff training, and supervision.

• Assist Regional Offices with operations for the properties assigned.

• Collaborate with Property Managers, Service Managers, Regional Property Managers, Area Service Managers, Directors of Service & Quality, and Directors of Operations on audit-related action plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel at least 75% of the time, with convenient access to a major airport.

• Strong preference for candidates located in one of AIR's primary markets: Denver, DC Metro, Miami Metro, Boston area, or Philadelphia area.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Multifamily Service Operations Management.

• At least 2 years of experience in a direct Service Management position.

• Proven history of managing large properties effectively.

• Strong skills in team building, coaching, and training.

• Experience supervising multiple sites.

• Exceptional customer service background.

• Strong orientation towards achieving financial results.

• Demonstrated capability to enhance community-level value.
