Traveling HVAC Installation Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Install and replace components of complete commercial cooling systems on cell tower cooling units

• Accurately complete daily reports in a timely manner

• Travel to remote work sites as required

• Execute upgrades on equipment that is out of season

• Perform required performance checks

• Travel up to 80–90% for periods of up to three weeks at a time

• Install, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems on cellular towers

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in HVAC maintenance, with a preference for commercial experience

• 1 year of construction experience may be accepted in place of HVAC experience

• Preferred experience with wall-mounted MarvAir, Bard, and MarvAir DAC/WAC direct air-cooling units

• Fundamental knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems

• Ability to adhere to FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA standards

• Candidates should reside in the Groveland, Florida area

• Proficient in operating a phone, computer, and/or tablet

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

• Ability to effectively inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment and alarms both visually and audibly

• Willingness to be on call and travel as necessary, particularly during peak summer months

• May be required to pass a DOT physical
