This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Deliver both remote and on-site technical assistance for automated dispensing systems.
• Address, assess, prioritize, and resolve work orders within established service-level agreements.
• Diagnose and repair proprietary hardware and software components, taking full ownership of each case.
• Troubleshoot intricate issues and escalate to Senior or Lead Field Service Engineers as necessary.
• Provide support for government accounts that require eligibility for a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Carry out installations, in-servicing, repairs, calibrations, and general technical support.
• Maintain precise inventory records of spare parts.
• Ensure proper upkeep of company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Foster positive customer relationships through professional communication and prompt support.
• Record service activities, expenses, and time logs accurately.
• Collaborate with Sales and Implementation teams.
• Adhere to complaint-handling and Medical Device Reporting protocols.
• Ensure that service documentation complies with regulatory and corporate standards.
• Engage in technical training and professional development opportunities.
• Work autonomously and in collaboration to achieve service objectives.
• Assist leadership with escalations, advanced troubleshooting, and case resolution.
• 1–3 years of experience in hardware, software, and IT support.
• Capability to gain access to Federal Government facilities, including obtaining necessary identification badges.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
• Capacity to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel as needed.
• An associate degree in a related field or over 3 years of Field Service or Technical Support experience.
• Experience in repairing medical or electromechanical devices is required.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to disassemble and reassemble complex systems.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems, networking, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to use both powered and manual hand tools effectively.
• Capability to lift 85 lbs frequently and 115 lbs occasionally, including overhead lifting.
• Ability to climb, kneel, crawl, reach, grasp, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company driving criteria.
• Daily travel by car is required, along with occasional air travel and overnight stays.
• CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in 24×7 on-call service is preferred.
