Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Market IKO Commercial Roofing and Building Envelope products to the contracting sector.

• Address technical inquiries from both internal and external customers regarding commercial roofing and building envelope solutions.

• Collaborate with the commercial contracting sector.

• Conduct quality assurance inspections on ongoing and completed projects.

• Develop and deliver both theoretical and practical training on commercial products for current and prospective Registered Contractors.

• Engage with the contracting community and distribution network to promote products and provide theoretical education.

• Create written reports on inspections and quality assurance for both internal stakeholders and external clients.

• Participate in relevant association events to advocate for IKO Commercial products.

• Travel within the Greater Toronto Area and its vicinity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in the application of commercial roofing products is essential.

• Familiarity with building envelope products is considered an asset.

• A degree in Roofing, Construction Technology, or a related field is advantageous.

• Experience conducting quality assurance inspections is beneficial.

• Background in product sales or promotion is a plus.

• Strong communication and presentation abilities are required.

• Comprehensive understanding and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capability to climb a ladder is necessary.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks while working autonomously.

• Authorization to work in Canada is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% may be necessary.
