Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the performance, maintenance, and calibration of intricate clinical equipment.

• Ensure that essential medical devices are safe, precise, and ready for use by clinicians.

• Provide guidance to clinicians on the safe and effective utilization of equipment.

• Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

• Oversee inventory management.

• Travel approximately 90% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering setting.

• Strong technical expertise in systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, and error code interpretation.

• An associate degree in electronics or a related technical field, or equivalent experience (or TRIMEDX certification).

• CBET Certification is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Ability to independently resolve problems.

• Proficiency in electronics and practical troubleshooting.

• Effective communication skills with clinicians, vendors, and leadership.

• A focus on precision, compliance, and attention to detail.
