Travel Nanny – Security Detail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as an integral member of a dedicated security and protective services team for a prominent family.

• Deliver outstanding childcare, administrative assistance, and support related to travel.

• Provide attentive, engaging, and age-appropriate care for children during travel assignments.

• Ensure consistency in routines, sleep schedules, and educational/play activities while away from home.

• Oversee the packing, organization, and inventory of children's travel gear, clothing, and essential items.

• Plan and organize destination-appropriate activities, outings, and leisure time.

• Serve as a point of contact between the family and the primary security team, integrating into the executive protection unit.

• Maintain situational awareness in public spaces, transit hubs, hotels, and private venues.

• Adhere to security protocols, travel routes, emergency action plans, and access controls established by the Protection Lead.

• Uphold confidentiality and discretion regarding family logistics, travel plans, locations, and personal affairs.

• Coordinate travel logistics for children, including dietary requirements, equipment setup, and local medical resources.

• Participate in pre-trip security briefings covering itineraries, safety protocols, and operational expectations.

• Submit timely travel expense reports and documentation in accordance with corporate guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience as a nanny, in private households, or in specialized childcare roles.

• Capability to work remotely from a home base and shift to full-time travel status during trips.

• Ability to deploy on short notice and remain in travel status for extended durations.

• A valid passport with no restrictions on international travel.

• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (Infant/Pediatric).

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

• Successful completion of a thorough background investigation, including criminal history, driving record, and drug screening, prior to the start date.

• Agreement to non-disclosure agreements as a condition of employment.

• A high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

• A calm demeanor under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced travel environments.

• Strong situational awareness and the capacity to follow security protocols and emergency action plans.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to integrate into a security-focused team environment.

• Experience in managing children's packing, travel logistics, routines, and planning suitable activities for travel situations.
