This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing the editorial production calendar.

• Verify content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

• Collaborate with writers, editors, freelancers, and subject matter experts.

• Ensure that articles are published accurately, punctually, and uphold high-quality standards.

• Adhere to editorial workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality assurance (QA) systems, and publishing processes.

• Support large-scale content updates and refresh initiatives.

• Work in close partnership with SEO, marketing, product, and partnerships teams.

• Maintain consistency in editorial tone, formatting, and compliance standards.

• Responsibly utilize AI-assisted editorial systems and workflows.

• Ensure that content aligns with E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) and consumer trust standards.

• Uphold editorial and disclosure standards relevant to insurance and financial content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience supporting editorial operations for a digital publisher, affiliate site, SaaS company, or comparison website.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• A willingness to learn and enhance editorial, SEO, and content operations skills.

• Understanding of SEO, large language models (LLMs), and search-driven content.

• Proficient in using content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.

• Excellent organizational abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

• A proactive and self-motivated communicator.

• Background in insurance, travel, personal finance, fintech, or consumer publishing.

• Experience in assisting with large-scale content refresh projects.

• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-assisted publishing workflows.

• Experience using analytics tools such as GA4, Ahrefs, or Search Console.

• Experience working with remote teams.
