Travel Consultant – VIP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide travel advisory services and organize travel arrangements for corporate clients, including both individuals and groups, within the United States.

• Evaluate and investigate travel alternatives while proactively anticipating the needs of travelers to promote additional services.

• Coordinate and secure domestic and international travel plans of varying complexities, encompassing air, road, rail, and lodging.

• Utilize a Global Distribution System (GDS) effectively.

• Ensure adherence to clients’ travel policies, service provider regulations, and compliance with relevant laws.

• Employ effective telephone service techniques and respond to unique customer requests.

• Safeguard against fraudulent bookings after hours by adhering to established security protocols.

• Work collaboratively with the team to mentor, coach, and offer constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in GDS systems (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus) is essential.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate travel.

• Familiarity with fares, ticketing, transportation options (car, hotel, air, and rail) for both domestic and international travel.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Integrity in handling personal traveler information.

• Ability to resolve customer issues swiftly and independently, or in collaboration with suppliers.

• A commitment to teamwork and receptiveness to feedback.
