Travel Advisor – Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver travel services tailored for VIP and executive business travelers.

• Organize domestic and international air, rail, ground transportation, car services, hotel accommodations, seat assignments, and additional services.

• Engage with clients to ascertain their destinations, transportation preferences, dates, budgets, accommodations, and required services.

• Interpret client requests and compile precise travel arrangements.

• Oversee upgrades and loyalty programs while ensuring service delivery is maintained.

• Anticipate client requirements and address unforeseen challenges while executing precise travel itineraries.

• Calculate travel expenses utilizing Sabre GDS and other reservation tools.

• Conduct quality checks on reservations prior to ticketing.

• Address customer service issues in collaboration with leadership and vendor representatives.

• Review, prioritize, summarize, and respond to correspondence and related materials.

• Communicate detailed itineraries, fare rules, confirmation numbers, cancellation policies, upgrades, preferences, travel policies, and other essential information.

• Monitor queues, tasks, reservations, and executive flights efficiently.

• Maintain reservations in a completed state and ensure team tasks are finalized or reassigned by the end of the shift.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in collaboration with leadership.

• Collect customer payments in accordance with client and CTM policies.

• Stay informed through daily briefings and industry announcements.

• Keep up-to-date knowledge of GDS and account-specific tools, including CTM Advisor, Online Booking Tool, iQCX, Finisher, and Banx.

• Uphold productivity goals and foster strong communication within the department.

• Build relationships with executive travelers, executive assistants, clients, vendors, and suppliers.

• Arrange personal travel for executives, their family members, and companions.

• Organize small corporate group travel and negotiate favorable group rates.

• Conduct initial introductions and interviews for executive traveler profiles, including potential onsite client visits, and maintain profile updates.

• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced travel advisors.

• Be available to work outside of regular hours during special events or crises.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience as a travel counselor specializing in corporate/business travel.

• Proficiency in using Sabre GDS is required.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proficient in GDS usage.

• Familiarity with technology and strong PC literacy.

• Basic mathematics skills are necessary.

• Knowledge of geography.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

• Ability to read and interpret documents and information accurately.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Capacity to meet deadlines and handle simultaneous requests effectively.

• Creative and analytical thinking with robust problem-solving and consultative skills.

• Capability to remain composed under pressure.

• Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
