Trauma Radiologist – Early Overnights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review a high volume of complex trauma cases remotely for Grady Memorial Hospital.

• Engage in a work schedule of one week on followed by two weeks off, amounting to 17 weeks annually.

• Undertake early overnight shifts: from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. EST Monday to Friday, and 4 p.m. to midnight EST on Saturday and Sunday.

• Analyze trauma imaging such as CT scans of the head, cervical spine, and face, along with CTA trauma CAP, CTA runoffs, and X-rays.

• Collaborate with a dedicated emergency neuroradiologist and evening/overnight trauma radiologists.

• Provide interpretations alongside on-site trainees.

• Communicate with faculty and on-site trainees mainly through Teams.

• Participate in teaching, supervision of trainees, and other clinical and non-clinical divisional activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be ABR Board-certified or eligible.

• Must be eligible to secure an unrestricted medical license in Georgia.

• A genuine interest in trauma imaging is essential.

• Strong clinical expertise across various modalities is required.

• Must possess the ability to excel in a fast-paced emergency environment.

• Capability to work collaboratively with fellow radiologists is a must.

• Willingness to engage in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including teaching and trainee supervision.

• Experience in emergency and trauma imaging is preferred.

• Clinical patient interaction is necessary.

• Experience working with radioactive materials or devices is required.
