Transportation Marketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee the marketing efforts for new and renewal commercial insurance risks across all lines.

• Partner with Account Managers, Account Executives, and sales producers to acquire new clients and maintain existing relationships.

• Develop effective marketing strategies.

• Analyze current insurance programs, rate details, and claims data to identify the most suitable markets for placement.

• Aid in gathering information to prepare submissions for underwriters.

• Collaborate with underwriters on behalf of clients to secure appropriate quotes.

• Evaluate quotes to ensure coverage and rates are accurate.

• Create client proposals following agency guidelines and standards.

• Verify the accuracy of proposals.

• Maintain the Agency Management System with relevant marketing data, correspondence, applications, and quotes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to foster relationships with carriers and negotiate effectively for both clients and the agency.

• Comprehensive understanding of commercial lines coverages and market dynamics.

• 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Account Management or Marketing is required.

• An active FL 2-20 P&C license is necessary.

• Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or equivalent designation is highly preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Experience with Applied Epic is preferred, but familiarity with a similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable.

• Capability to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Frequent visual engagement to read documents and computer screens.

• Consistent use of hearing and speech for communication via telephone and in person.

• Repetitive hand movements, including typing, writing, and using a 10-key keypad.

• Ability to walk, bend, sit, reach, and stretch in various directions.
