Transportation Market Lead – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement regional growth strategies that align with MBI’s enterprise goals.

• Drive the identification and capture of key pursuits across all sectors.

• Facilitate collaboration across business lines to create new opportunities with major clients.

• Guide and influence the execution of client account management plans in partnership with business line leaders.

• Strengthen executive-level client relationships and enhance MBI’s presence within priority accounts.

• Ensure the delivery of integrated solutions that utilize Engineering, Consulting, and Technology capabilities.

• Boost the volume and quality of leads and pipeline in accordance with strategic growth objectives.

• Provide market insights to local teams for the development of early-stage opportunities.

• Advocate for unified people and culture initiatives across various business lines.

• Act as a senior representative for the Michael Baker International brand.

• Cultivate relationships with state and local governments and oversee government affairs initiatives.

• Represent MBI at key governmental meetings and support MBI PAC recommendations.

• Establish connections with clients, partners, and influential stakeholders.

• Counsel executive leadership on regional nonprofit and charitable involvement.

• Maintain consistent “One MBI” messaging and experience.

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 20 years of experience in a leadership capacity.

• Proven senior leader possessing a growth, client-focused, and enterprise-oriented mindset.

• Demonstrated capability to lead through influence and foster collaboration.

• Strong connections to the regional business community.

• Exceptional executive presence with the ability to translate strategy into action.

• Deep understanding of integrated services and complex solution selling.
