Transport Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the mobilization, demobilization, and delivery of equipment and materials to project sites, ensuring precise documentation and updates in the system.

• Handle import and export documentation, working closely with customs and regulatory bodies as needed.

• Manage compliance documentation and certifications for cargo, drivers, and transportation.

• Organize the collection and delivery of equipment between customer locations.

• Develop and sustain robust relationships with transport providers to meet service requirements.

• Track and report on logistics performance metrics, such as On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery and transport cost recoveries.

• Identify and assign appropriate equipment to fulfill contract and operational needs.

• Ensure adherence to company procedures, ISO standards, and requirements for internal and external audits.

• Advocate for and uphold compliance with QHSE policies, procedures, and safety standards.

• Offer logistics and transportation expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation scheduling, dispatch, logistics coordination, or fleet operations.

• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with transportation management systems is advantageous.

• Strong communication and customer service skills with the capability to collaborate across teams.

• Familiarity with transportation regulations and fleet operations is a plus.

• Preferred post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

• Proficiency in French is considered an advantage.
