This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more countries.
β’ Oversee procurement activities and ensure the accuracy of pricing data along with the RFQ tool.
β’ Recognize special-handling needs and assist in enhancing procurement processes.
β’ Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate freight rates across various transport modes.
β’ Aid in global RFI/RFQ initiatives.
β’ Keep rate cards updated and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
β’ Foster supplier relationships and maintain pertinent documentation.
β’ Participate in supplier meetings and Quality Business Reviews (QBRs).
β’ Work closely with Freight Bill & Audit, Pooling, and Pricing teams to address billing inquiries.
β’ Anticipate fluctuations in volume and provide precise pricing data.
β’ Assist with operational needs.
β’ Support the development of dashboards and reporting.
β’ Analyze trends and volumes.
β’ Spot opportunities to enhance procurement processes, efficiencies, and supplier performance.
β’ Utilize technology and AI to boost data quality, visibility, and efficiency.
β’ 2β4 years of experience in procurement, logistics, freight forwarding, or a related discipline.
β’ Proven experience in managing freight quotations and rates across diverse transport modes.
β’ Solid understanding of global RFQ processes, supplier coordination, and transportation rate management.
β’ Experience in creating and analyzing rate cards.
β’ Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
β’ Capability to work accurately with extensive datasets, pricing frameworks, and cost-optimization strategies.
β’ Familiarity with procurement tools.
β’ Keen interest in leveraging AI and technology to enhance data quality, reporting, dashboards, and efficiency.
β’ Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
β’ Capacity to manage multiple priorities and effectively collaborate with global stakeholders.
β’ Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
β’ Must be located in or willing to relocate to Spain, Portugal, or Poland without sponsorship.
β’ Must have authorization to work in the current country of residence without sponsorship.
β’ Visa or work permit sponsorship is not available.
