Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create tender documents by evaluating, negotiating, and documenting contracts while keeping track of progress.

• Collaborate with clients and other consultants throughout all phases of the project.

• Distribute RFPs and oversee the clarification process.

• Assist with technical interfaces and commercial issues related to plant EPC.

• Fulfill relevant SOX control responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of procurement or commercial experience in utility-scale solar, wind, or BESS, including EPC or BOP contracting.

• Proven track record of managing competitive RFPs, bid leveling, and contract negotiations for construction scopes.

• Familiarity with HV interconnection, civil, and site preparation scopes.

• Understanding of plant EPC interface management.

• Experience with ECI, PCSA, and unit rate and quantity true-up structures is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of local and regional civil and clearing contractors in active markets.

• In-depth understanding of the entire procurement process.

• Exceptional attention to structure and detail.

• Strong collaboration and negotiation abilities.

• Proficiency in reporting.

• Capability to comply with SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
