Transload Transportation Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the Transload Final Mile team and clients with their transportation requirements.

• Oversee the movement and activities of containers/FTL.

• Track transload specifics with warehouses as specified by the client.

• Dispatch containers and provide release information to carriers within stipulated timelines.

• Arrange delivery appointments to meet customer deadlines.

• Monitor and address delivery exceptions.

• Keep all delivery milestones updated in the system.

• Resolve issues and propose solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

• Background in dispatch for Drayage/FTL movements.

• Experience in ocean container transloading activities.

• Familiarity with CFS Warehouse settings.

• Experience in Freight Forwarding/Customs processes is advantageous.

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel are preferred.

• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Demonstrated experience in coordinating transloads and drayage moves.

• Knowledge of International Freight, including In-bond activities and Dray movements.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.

• Competence in interpreting instructions in various forms, including written, oral, diagrams, or schedules.

• Skillful in prioritizing, organizing, and delegating assignments.

• Must be self-driven, maintain confidentiality, be honest, friendly, punctual, organized, possess a positive attitude, and work independently.

• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world situations.
