This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead and nurture the Product Design team, managing a group of five designers.
• Establish standards for craftsmanship, judgment, and ownership.
• Define and maintain the experience benchmark across customer-facing native, web, and back-office product interfaces.
• Ensure consistency across squads and user journeys.
• Shape the long-term experience strategy and articulate guiding principles.
• Advance and promote the adoption of design systems.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership on strategic planning, problem definition, and intricate trade-offs.
• Actively contribute to complex, high-impact projects through visual and interaction design.
• Work with Brand, Creative, Growth, CRM, and Games teams to create cohesive customer experiences.
• Investigate and incorporate emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance design and development.
• Strengthen frameworks and standards that elevate experience quality as the company expands.
• Proven experience operating at scale and influencing design direction across multiple teams and platforms.
• Exceptional taste in visual and interaction design, along with strong product instincts.
• Experience in building or enhancing design systems.
• Proficient craft skills and the ability to directly contribute to high-stakes projects.
• Strategic partnership experience with Product and Engineering leadership.
• Experience in developing designers through constructive feedback, coaching, and recruitment.
• Clear and actionable communication skills across various disciplines and seniority levels.
• A genuine curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI.
• A deep commitment to well-designed digital products.
• Must have the full right to work in the UK.
• Must currently reside in the UK.
