This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Implement Clear to Launch transportation procedures and standardized workflows to ensure timely outbound deliveries.

• Offer operational support from Friday through Monday for transportation activities.

• Receive and prioritize handoff requests while developing structured execution plans.

• Oversee high-volume outbound transportation operations, including escalations and exceptions.

• Identify potential delivery risks and coordinate solutions with internal teams and transportation partners.

• Assist with both U.S. domestic and international outbound transportation efforts.

• Serve as a point of escalation in transportation to uphold customer commitments and shipment performance.

• Create solutions for urgent, expedited, or atypical shipping needs.

• Ensure compliant and efficient international outbound execution in collaboration with customs and transportation teams.

• Collaborate with global MRO facilities, fulfillment teams, and distribution centers.

• Work closely with the Clear to Build team regarding inbound and outbound priorities, handoffs, and escalation management.

• Utilize supplier performance metrics, operational data, and transportation visibility tools to pinpoint execution gaps.

• Foster continuous improvement and enhance outbound operational routines.

• Leverage AI, analytics, digital tools, and automation to enhance decision-making, visibility, data quality, cost efficiency, and process adherence.

• Support performance improvements among transportation suppliers, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.

• Advocate for compliance with regulations, company policies, procedures, and EHS standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or material flow.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or material flow, with hands-on involvement in transportation planning and operational execution for both international and domestic shipments.

• Experience in managing transportation suppliers across intricate regional networks.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple issues simultaneously, and make informed decisions in a high-pressure scenario.

• Skill in interpreting operational needs, absorbing handoffs, and structuring work for efficient daily execution.

• Strong analytical skills and capability in process development.

• Experience utilizing data, metrics, and digital tools to monitor performance and identify deficiencies.

• Familiarity with customs processes and documentation relevant to international transportation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools that support logistics operations.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume, and rapid-response environment.

• Customer-oriented and action-driven, balancing urgency, compliance, service, and cost considerations.

• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify patterns, escalate risks, and assist in implementing corrective measures.

• Exceptional organizational abilities and discipline in managing competing priorities.

• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.

• May be subject to random and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
