Translator, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Convert English software UI text provided as keys, ensuring the meaning, clarity, tone, variables, and formatting requirements are upheld.

• Transform online marketing materials into compelling and natural European Spanish.

• Consistently implement Circle’s translation guidelines, glossary, and style guide.

• Utilize Circle-approved key-based translation tools and other sanctioned systems, including authorized AI tools.

• Evaluate and address quality assurance issues that arise during linguistic reviews.

• Share your availability, turnaround times, and potential delivery risks asynchronously via Slack.

• Collaborate with Circle and the other Spanish translator to distribute tasks and ensure continuity in case of absences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven professional experience in translating software user interface text into Spanish.

• Established professional experience in translating online marketing content into Spanish.

• Professional experience with key-based translation or localization tools, rather than solely document-based translation workflows.

• Native-level proficiency in European Spanish (es-ES) and a strong understanding of English source content.

• Ability to work independently, adhere to detailed language guidelines, and make informed decisions when source context is insufficient.

• Openness to investigate, report, and rectify quality assurance issues.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (CEFR C2 or equivalent).

• Familiarity with online communities, creator-economy products, or software utilized by creators.

• Experience in localizing content for SaaS, membership, community, or other digital products.
